The opening of the stadium in Wrocław

The first event inaugurating the opening of the stadium in Wrocław was a heavyweight boxing match between the Polish boxer Tomasz Adamek and the Ukrainian WBC world champion Vitali Klitschko. The match took place on 10 September. The winner was the defending title holder, Vitali Klitschko.

Fans of George Michael had been able to buy tickets for his concert, a part of Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour, since 21 June 2011. The concert took place on 17 September as one of the attractions for the opening of the Wrocław arena for Euro 2012. The artist played together with the Wrocław Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

The last event, which will take place on 1 October, is Monster Jam, a display of the wild acrobatics of 10 monster trucks. Monster Jam is the largest world automotive event, drawing over four million spectators annually. Squaring off here will be 10 huge American pickups, with Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Disney XD, Spider-Man and E-maxx among those appearing. The motorcycle speedway team WTS Sparta Wrocław will also present a show by its own competitors, and preparing a special surprise for supporters are two local American football teams based in Wrocław, Devils and The Crew.
